Once again, our Garden Volunteers did a great job planting and maintaining the library entry gardens. Each summer seems to bring its own unique weather challenges, and we are very grateful for the work that each volunteer does to keep the plants healthy and blooming. This year we added a new bed of flowers along the walkway and did some transplanting.
Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Library patrons really appreciate the splash of color that the gardens bring to the entrance, and we receive many compliments on your work.
On behalf of the Friends, thank you to Helen du Toit, John Iberg, Jo Travers, Bethanne Hinkle, Laura Dowling, Claudia Miller, and Ingrid Mayyasi for their continued efforts. Many thanks to our new garden volunteers, Betsy Nikula, Joanne Phillips, and Lisa Cornacchia. We are very happy to welcome you to our team of gardeners.
