Popular D.C. Satire Group Coming to Sudbury

The Friends of the Sudbury Senior Citizens and The Friends of the Goodnow Library, are combining their resources to present a benefit performance by The Capitol Steps, a well-known Washington D.C. satire troupe that claims it “puts the Mock in Democracy. They will be bringing their unique view of politics to the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Auditorium on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, just a couple of weeks before the Presidential Election.

The Capitol Steps keep their shows fresh and filled with equal opportunity satire and barbs aimed at Washington politics. They provide outstanding entertainment that can be enjoyed by a wide audience and this is the perfect time for such a performance.

“We are excited to bring this multi-talented troupe to Sudbury,” said Alice Levine, president of the Library Friends.

“This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate to present a hilarious show right before the election,” remarked Bob Diefenbacher, president of the Friends of Sudbury Senior Citizens.

Stay tuned for more information about this fun-filled evening including ticket availability and volunteer opportunities.
