Why our work mattersThe Friends help ensure that the Goodnow Library remains a vital community resource. Most people don’t realize that the town budget does not fully fund library programs. In fact, many of the most popular library programs and resources would not be possible without support from the Friends. The Goodnow Library is not simply a repository for books. It is a gathering place that enhances the quality of community life. It provides free and open access to information and services. It advances knowledge, fosters creativity, and encourages the exchange of ideas. Help us help the library keep our community strong. |
How you can helpThe Friends raise funds through membership dues, donations, book sales, and special fundraising events such as Teamwork Trivia night. We rely on community participation to provide the support our library needs to remain a vibrant cultural and education center for Sudbury. You can help the Friends by becoming a member, making a donation, volunteering, or simply coming to one of our great fundraising events. |
