Members make a difference
Your membership supports vital library programs
The Friends of the Goodnow Library offered the community the opportunity to engage with the library in a meaningful way.
Please note: At this time the Friends of the Goodnow Library would appreciate your support of our return to the library.
Membership brings many rewards, including the knowledge that your gift makes a real difference to our public library. Your contribution provides funding for a wide range of programs and resources.
Friends-supported programming includes author programs, workshops, cooking programs, summer reading programs, teen and children’s programs, and the Sunday Afternoons at Goodnow Cultural Series. The Friends also fund museum passes, the movie license, library equipment, and special projects like the RFID checkout system, the book drop, toys for Children’s Room, furnishings for the Community Gathering Space, and more.
Since its incorporation in 1988, the Friends of the Goodnow Library have contributed more than $1.25 million toward programs, capital improvements, and essential library resources. It’s all made possible by our dedicated members and supporters.
